OmenServe Multilist AddonNOTE! As OmenScripts website - the home of OmenServe, AutoGet and KeepTrack - is suspended right now, you can get most OmenScripts from Tipi's website. NOTE2! Starting from OmenServe version 2.60, OS Multilist Addon is included to OmenServe. There is no need to download or use this addon. As a default, OmenServe allows user to have just one list per channel. This addon lets you specify several lists for channel, which is very useful if you have "new" lists or you want to serve additional material.
Installing the addonUnzip to mIRC folder (you can use any subfolders, including \OmenServe\ - but remember to modify the load command) and load using //load -rs OS-multilist.mrc After loading main configuration window will open. You can access configuration dialogs from Commands --> OmenServe --> "OmenServe Multilist Addon" and other items. Note that triggers for additional lists will always be @yournick-listname, ie @DukeLupus-books. Slashes in list name or nick should be OK. All $me, $mnick and %SDtrigger are checked. @find does not work with the additional lists. To add that I would have to change OmenServe - and I don't want to do that. Not to mention, OS licence does not allow distribution of modified versions - or any unauthorized distribution at all. . I'm sorry about the silly three-dialog GUI - they should have been tabs in one dialog, but I had the idea for additional ads when rest of the script was ready - and I didn't have the willpower to modify the dialogs again...
Additional adsYou can have one additional ad per channel - it is not really needed or recommended, just modify the message in front of OmenServe ad instead (OS tab Skins, "Message before..."). Note that you can save ad only if it is certain that dlFilter catches the ad - ie, it must contain words "trigger" or "type" and character @
!list support is required in several ebook channels. Originally a deature of BWI, it is quite useful but should be standardized, ie not show just your ad but send all list triggers in a notice or something like that. Addon does not show ad associated with the channel but sends a short notice: "List triggers: @..., @..., @...". Additional ads are not required for !list
AcknowledgementsTipi, eMpTy, Omen and SDSailor made the OmenServe what it is. Tedric reported some bugs in beta and tested it. LawdyMama complained about lack of multiple ads and lists per channel. |
